God’s healed me, so I know He can heal someone else. I’m going to share my story and hope it will encourage others to go and share theirs.”

Singer and songwriter Katy Nichole didn’t realize a personal journal entry during one of the darkest parts of her life would be the impetus and lyrics for a history-making song. She’s now catapulted to the top of Christian music and is inspiring fans around the world to put their trust and hope in Jesus Christ even in the darkest moments of life.

“In Jesus Name” (God of Possible), first premiered on Tik-Tok, best known for dance videos and lip singing teenagers vying for attention. Now the social media giant helped Nichole share her story and point people to Christ as she quickly became a viral sensation. Her video quickly amassed a whopping 80 million views and catapulted the 21 years old and her story into the national spotlight, opening doors of ministry across the nation with the biggest names in Christian music including 70 planned concerts in 2022 alone.

“In Jesus Name” also made Billboard chart history, reaching the Christian Airplay penthouse in its 12th week, the fastest rise to No. 1 for a female artist’s first entry in the chart’s 19-year history.

For Nichole, the inspiration for the song was birthed during COVID-19 in the midst of her own health crisis as she battled scoliosis. Enduring three surgeries, excruciating pain, and depression, and bedridden with metal rods and screws in her back, Nichole pressed through and believed God for healing. She came out healed, stronger, and full of faith, and has now used her new platform to introduce the world to Christ and inspired people with her story, one that came through the darkest valley and set her on a path of healing and hope in Christ.

Her heartfelt lyrics have inspired over 150 million plays of her song, and over 4 million views on YouTube. The lyrics have become an anthem of sorts, that God is with you in the pain, you are never forgotten, and the power of Jesus’ Name.

“I speak the name of Jesus over you
In your hurting, in your sorrow
I will ask my God to move
I speak the name ’cause it’s all that I can do
In desperation, I’ll seek Heaven
And pray this for you”

In a statement published on Christian Post, Nichole shared, “There’s no story that doesn’t matter to God. He wrote every story, and He’s the greatest author of all time,” she declared. “God’s healed me, so I know He can heal someone else. I’m going to share my story and hope it will encourage others to go and share theirs.”
