Singer Nathan Kistler has gone viral online after putting the Lord’s prayer to the song while he toured the nation’s capital this week. The Christian singer who describes himself on social media as a Christian singer sharing Jesus with members of Congress in Washington D.C. was overwhelmed at the response as thousands were encouraged in the faith by hearing his bold and beautiful melody.

“In the last almost 13 years that I’ve been here, I’ve never sung in the rotunda of the Capitol. I’ve always set it up for other singers to do so. Rep. Louie Gohmert asked if I would sing for him and the group and I was honored to do so. Wow, thanks Kirk Cameron for sharing this video! You are far too kind my friend! I’m humbled by the kind comments and the fact that people would share this.”

Kirk Cameron, former star of Growing Pains shared, “GOOSE BUMPS!! My friend, Nathan Kistler, singing the Lord’s Prayer in the U.S. Capitol… pass this on!”

Pass it on, people have. The video quickly amassed over 1 million views and more by the day.

“A beautiful gift from God, an anointing, has evidently been placed upon your life. Watched this in Australia, and it brought beautiful Holy Spirit chills, such peace in your voice.??Keep standing on the rock of Jesus’ Salvation, keep honouring God and giving HIM all the Glory, brother in Christ. This is truly beautiful, may we all be inspired to lift our voices and praise God across all nations, out of the shadows and into His Light, in public places and amidst gatherings of people where Jesus reaches their hearts, yes Lord Jesus! Thank you for giving your gift back to God in your praise and worship leadership and gifting upon your life. GOD is truly worthy of ALL our praise! May God Bless and keep strengthening you and your family and colleagues to share His Word always and everywhere! Amen!”
