In what critics are calling an unconscionable act of defiance and blasphemy, California Governor Gavin Newsom is promoting California as a sanctuary state for abortions and is using Scripture to promote it in his billboard campaigns. Even as adoption and life is being promoted across the nation, on the big screen, and in pregnancy centers, the CA governor is promoting abortion.

“Need an abortion? California is ready to help,” the billboard reads across Indiana, Texas, South Carolina, and Oklahoma highways.

Next, in smaller lettering, the signs quote a Scripture verse,  “Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no greater commandment than these. -Mark 12:31”

Critics are outraged that the California governor would take God’s word and suit it for the murder of innocent, helpless lives and promote it with such pride and arrogance.

Kathleen Domingo, executive director of the California Catholic Conference, told CNA, “If we truly loved our neighbor as ourselves, we would want the best for our neighbor, which means true comprehensive support services so that no mother or father is misled or coerced into ending a child’s life, and no mother or father walks their parenthood journey alone,” she told CNA.

Domingo went on to explain that the basic needs of Californians aren’t being met, and yet the governor is inviting people to come and get an abortion.

Join us and thousands of others praying for revival in California and for Governor Newsom to meet the real Jesus.
